A fine wine auction in early December will see an impressive private collection of Bordeaux and Burgundy vintages put up for sale.
The auction is being conducted by Bonhams, while the collection itself is "remarkable for its depth and range", it is claimed.
Highlights of the sale include a jeroboam of 1986 Chateau Lafite Rothschild which is expected to achieve in excess of £5,000, as well as high-value vintages from Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Petrus and Cheval Blanc.
Burgundy is represented by a number of rare bottles. Lots of note include a 1945 Musigny Vieilles Vignes, a 2000 La Tache and a 1995 Richebourg.
This sale takes place at Bonhams on London's New Bond Street on December 2nd.
The following day will see Cuttlestones in Penkridge, Staffordshire, hold its own fine wine auction.
Highlights of this particular sale are four bottles of 1966 Chateau Latour, and pair of 1959 Chateau Margaux
