Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Château de Vosne. The 2006 Vosne-Romanée Clos du Château has a straight-laced bouquet compared to the 2005, linear and correct, with raspberry and blood orange aromas developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, dried orange peel and a pinch of white pepper, though, unlike the 2005, there is a touch of dryness appearing on the finish. I would drink this before the 2005. Tasted June 2015. eRobertParker.com.July, 2015
