This offers a solid step up in aromatic complexity with a broad-ranging nose of smoked tea, warm earth, underbrush and a touch of wet stone on the mélange of perfumed red berry fruit. There is a beguiling texture to the intense and vibrant medium weight flavors that are shaped by phenolically mature and firm tannins on the mouth coating finish where a touch of wood surfaces. This is lovely and there is just clearly more underlying material. Tasted: Apr 15, 2013. Drink: 2019+
