Pure and elegant, with pretty floral, damson plum and currant fruit laced with finely beaded acidity. Nicely done. James Molesworth,
Good cassis fruit and length. A classy polished wine with a good future. Drink 2015-2022.
A cru bourgeois under the same ownership as Chateau Montrose, and sharing the same administrator, Herve Berland, Tronquoy Lalande made sensational wines in 2009 and 2010 that represented great value. The 2011 possesses a dense ruby/plum color, a richer, more textured mouthfeel than many of its peers, medium body, silky tannin, and fleshy black currant and black cherry fruit. It is an excellent effort as well as a potential sleeper of the vintage. Consume it now or cellar it for ten years. Wine Advocate.April, 2014
A very reticent nose but the palate is charming and has lots of juicy blue and black fruit. The tannins are powdery fine and there is decent length. Good.
47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 11% Petit Verdot make up this blend, which represents 56% of the production. Blackberry, jam, earth and black cherry scents with a medium-bodied, bright, cassis-filled finish.
Blueberry and spice character. Medium body, with fine tannins. Clean but a little short.
