One of the finest Tertre Daugays I have tasted (although the 2009 is also attractive), this sleeper of the vintage exhibits a dense purple color as well as copious aromas of sweet kirsch, black fruits, licorice and graphite. Medium to full-bodied with a corpulent, layered mouthfeel, light to moderate tannins and a spicy, heady finish, it should drink well for 10-12 years. May 2011, www.robertparker.com
