Average Score 88.7

Finely expressed cassis fruit, good concentration and depth, very well made wine that shows class above its (non) classification. Drink 2015-2025.
Nice fleshy feel here, with succulent plum and blackberry fruit that stays pure through the black tea-infused finish. Fine mineral thread flitters through the finish as well. James Molesworth,
Tasted at the vertical held at the chateau, the 2011 Chateau Siran, a blend of 52% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc, has an open, quite generous, earthy and leather-scented bouquet that permeates through the red berry fruit that feels a little smudged against the 2010 Siran. The palate is medium-bodied with quite fine tannin on the entry and tangible mineralite. This is an appealing Margaux that punches just above my expectations and its persistence on the finish suggests that it has the substance to age. This is worth looking out for. Tasted February 2016. May 2016,
Elegant and refined red with well-integrated tannins with a mineral, mint and cassis character. Delicious sample. 52% Merlot, 36% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 11% Petit-Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc.
This Cru Bourgeois possesses a slightly herbaceous nose as well as a somewhat narrowly constructed flavor profile. The color is a healthy dark ruby with some pink at the edge, and the wine is elegant, medium-bodied yet superficial with the tannins dominating the meager fruit. The terroir has provided some complexity, but this 2011 is likely to become increasingly desiccated as it ages, so drink it over the next 3-4 years. Wine Advocate.April, 2014
