Average Score 92.75

The Château Sigalas-Rabaud 2014 is a blend of 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc with 123 grams per liter residual sugar and 4.56 grams per liter total acidity. It will matured in French oak for a total of 18 months. It has a very focused bouquet with honeysuckle, orange blossom and white peach scents all vying for attention. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the viscous entry. The concentration is commensurate with the vintage, with plenty of depth and vigor on the lightly spiced finish. Superb., 2015
No tasting note given.
The 2014 Sigalas Rabaud is powerful and broad on the palate, with notable depth and intensity, but also more than enough acidity to balance things out. Lemon curd, candied citrus, mint, spices and white flowers add the final shades of nuance. A wine that demands attention, the 2014 is not at all easygoing, but it has tons of pure personality. -
This shows lots of tension and beauty with dried fruits, minerals and intensity. Medium body, bright finish. James Suckling. April, 2015.
A pure style in the making, with a beam of white peach, apricot and pineapple flavors, leading to a long, heather-accented finish. Lovely acidity. A sleeper estate that shouldn’t be overlooked.—J.M. Wine Spectator, April 2015.
