Like the sweet wine from this property, the dry white is a notable success in 2015. Sappy, waxy and deftly oaked, with zesty, palate-cleansing acidity and the concentration to age further in bottle. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2016-2021
Green apple, orchard fruit, flowers and white pepper abound in the S de Suduiraut, the château's dry Sauvignon/Sémillon blend. Drink this ample, nicely textured white over the next year or two, while the flavors remain bright. Apr 2016,
The 2015 S de Suduiraut is a blend of 57% Sauvignon Blanc and 43% Semillon that is aged in 25% new oak. It is a little "quiet" on the nose, perhaps unwilling to express itself until after bottling. The palate is crisp and fresh, the acidity nicely judged with lime and freshly sliced pear, moderate weight with a lively finish that goes some way to compensating for the aromatics. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2018-2038
