Nice blend of Graves freshness with particularly ripe fruit. Not that much tannin but very agreeable, pleasingly well-balanced red for early drinking. GV Apr 2017, www.jancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2021-2030
This is a wine that I always enjoy and recommend regularly as a reliable good value pick. This year is no exception, although perhaps for me it's a touch below the 2015 in terms of the immediacy of the fruit. This is very good, with fleshy and well extracted black fruits. It has the balance and restraint so typical of the Graves. Not as sexy as last year. Apr 2017, www.decanter.com, Drink: 2020-2030
Fresh and fruity with sliced-dried-lemon and pear character. Medium body and a crisp finish. Apr 17, www.jamessuckling.com
