Critic Notes

Picked on October 20, the 2016 Riesling Grand Cru Furstentum is tropical and generous on the nose but also elegant and fine. Full-bodied, intense and concentrated on the palate, this is a tightly structured, promising Riesling with a very, very long, salty-piquant and refreshing finish. Very mouthwatering, with great tension and expression. An outstanding dry Furstentum Riesling at 13% alcohol with a well-hidden ten grams of unfermented sugar. Tasted October 2018. A showcase of Faiveley wines at the Annual Domaine Faiveley Grand Cru lunch
On a sunny afternoon last week, my fellow Private Client Account Managers, Martin and Peter and I attended an insightful tasting of the wines of Domaine Faiveley.
