The 2006 Rayne-Vigneau has a more conservative bouquet compared to both the 2004 and 2005 with dried honey, incense, almond and melted candle wax aromas that show crisp definition and open nicely during aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive density and cohesion, a touch of more viscosity than the 2005 with layers of orange peel, apricot and honey toward the primal finish. Superb. Drink now-2028. Tasted April 2013. Jun 2013, www.robertparker.com
