Average Score 89.9

A solid and powerful red with blueberry, blackberry, and tar. Full to medium body, firm tannins. Mar 2016,
The 2015 Rahoul has a mineral-driven bouquet, well defined with bright blackberry and raspberry aromas, a little earthiness poking its head around the corner with time. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannin, nicely judged acidity with an easy-going, very harmonious finish. It is not an extravagant Pessac-Léognan, but it ticks all the right boxes. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2018-2030
Tasting note coming soon. Apr 2016,
The 2015 Rahoul is succulent and wonderfully expressive. Smoke, tar, licorice, plum and graphite meld together in a deep, exotic wine endowed with real depth and intensity. There is plenty of vintage 2015 ripeness, but it is very nicely balanced throughout. The fleshy, fruit-driven style works quite nicely. Apr 2016,
Owned by Champagne Thienot for a while. Dark crimson. Light nose and lots of muscles and acid. Pretty chewy and austere on the end. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2021-2026
