Critic Notes

One of the old-time favorites and value picks in The Wine Advocate, this wine, from a gorgeous chateau in the Castillon, sports a completely new label. Black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, and some underbrush and earth are present in this supple-textured, medium-bodied, deliciously fruity, well-made wine, which exhibits ripe tannin as well as nice texture and length. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. Apr 2015, www.robertparker.com
