2011 Pedesclaux

The 2011 Pedesclaux has a touch of sur-maturite on the nose, fresh prune mixed with the black fruit, as if it is trying a little too hard after the 2010. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet and candied entry, supple ripe tannin with noticeable acidity that just seems a little shrill towards the finish. Not bad, though I find more sophistication in the 2010 Pedesclaux. Tasted March 2016. Mar 2017, www.robertparker.com
