Black pepper, cassis, and plums can be discerned in the nose of the complex 2001 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Damodes. Having enjoyed one of the longest malo-lactic fermentations of any of Domaine Lecheneaut’s 2001s, this medium to dark ruby-colored wine boasts a bold, deep character crammed with silky black cherry and mineral flavors.
