The 2015 Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Aux Thorey is 100% whole cluster fruit with 45% new oak. There was just a slight reduction on the nose to contend with, though the palate is well structured with good backbone, fine acidity thanks to the limestone soil, with pretty blackberry and redcurrant fruit towards the precise finish. Excellent. Dec 2016, www.robertparker.com
