Average Score 91.0

After a dip in quality in 2014, Nairac is back with a bang in 2015. Pale in colour, with subtle, chalky aromas and the promise of great things to come, this is subtle, delicate, elegant and focused, with notes of citrus zest, ginger and white pepper Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2018-2030
Reticent aromas of fresh citrus, spicy ginger and cedar. Bright, juicy and very mineral palate with a crisp, peppery bite on the long, perfumed finish. Is there just the merest hint of a green streak here? Not the richest Nairac in recent memory. Apr 2016, Ian D'Agata, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2019-2029
Unusual putty-like nose. Massive tension - almost too tense! Seems a bit like lime syrup. Very unusual - almost as though it had some gas dissolved in the sample. Not quite enough follow through and no real complexity. But it may well have the ingredients for eventual excitement. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2024-2037
