This wine has an abundance of sensual aromatics and it doesn't disappoint on the palate. The mid palate has a wonderful depth of flavours followed by a long finish. A fabulous Sauternes that will need some time to lose its baby fat. Beautifully balanced and concentrated. Jeannie Cho Lee MW asianpalate.com

The Nairac 2010 has a generous bouquet with pineapple and mango scents, and plenty of botrytis character – an appealing bouquet if missing a little finesse. The palate is medium-bodied with a viscous opening. There is good botrytized fruit here, with a fine line of acidity, but it is missing depth and viscosity toward the much more conservative finish. As I suggested from barrel, this Nairac is not as immediate as other recent vintages, but with further investigation you learn to appreciate its more nuanced take on the vineyard. Drink now-2032.
