Critic Notes

(90% of the blend is from Pierre Virant with the remainder from Porroux and Les Cognées). A ripe, fresh and layered nose is composed by notes of plum, violet, earth, the sauvage and a subtle hint of wood. Once again there is a lovely sense of vibrancy to the delicious, saline and focused medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a balanced and solidly persistent finale. At least a few years of patience will be beneficial. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
