The 2009 Perrieres from Jean-Francois Coche does not quite possess the thrilling bouquet as the succeeding vintage, but that does not detract from the ethereal slate and honeysuckle scents that display exquisite delineation. The palate is extremely well-balanced, more delicate than the 2010, and Zen-like toward the finish. There is so much potential here, I would cellar bottles for another five or six years. Tasted March 2013. Jun 2013, www.robertparker.com
