Critic Notes

The 2013 Meursault Narvaux has a taut, hazelnut and smoke-scented bouquet in the making: reticent at first, but it gains confidence in the glass. The palate is ripe and generous on the entry with hints of tangerine and orange rind: nicely balanced with a gentle, stem ginger finish that lingers in the mouth. Understated and well crafted, though one for early drinking rather than aging. Dec 2014, www.robertparker.com
