Critic Notes

The 2008 Meursault En Luraule has a curious bouquet that inexplicably brings to mind an Eden Valley Riesling! Not to say it is unattractive, just unexpected. Scents of tangerine and marmalade begin to emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a ripe tangerine and citrus lemon entry, decent weight in the mouth with a rather punchy lemongrass finish. This is a fine 2008 Meursault drinking beautifully now. Drink now-2017. Apr 2014, www.robertparker.com
