Average Score 90.5

A blend of 80% Sauvignon and 20% Semillon that hit 14% natural alcohol, this is serious wine boasting notes of lemon and lime marmalade intermixed with honeysuckle, a whiff of freshly cut grass and a waxy, melony character. Aromatically complex, this relatively big Malartic Lagraviere should drink well for up to 20 or more years. A great wine! Wine Advocate.February, 2012
Bright pale yellow, fine complexity and fresh dry herbs on the nose, fine flesh and fruit on the palate, an arrestingly vibrant wine with a very good future. Drink 2013-20
Delicious on the nose. Apple pie and subtle pineapple aromas follow through to a full body, with beautiful fruit and a long finish
Taut, closed with the merest hint of creamy citrus and then the fresh sourness of grapefruit on the palate. A bit hard. (JH) Jancis Robinson, jancisrobinson.com
Tasted at a negociant. The nose is a little taciturn at the moment, not showing the youthful exuberance of de Fieuzal for example, though the palate is nicely balance with a bit of fatness towards the finish. It comes across as conservative and rather non-descript. The 2008 tasted much better last year. Tasted April 2010
