The 2014 L'Enclos has an opaque bouquet that needed coaxing from the glass, eventually unveiling raspberry preserve, wild strawberry and singed leather aromas that need to manifest a little more vigor during bottle age. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. Here one finds plenty of dusky red berry fruit laced with sage and clove, gently rolling out towards quite a Left Bank style finish that is a tad austere yet persistent.
