Critic Notes
One of the most appealing and well balanced of the wines on which Michel Rolland consults, this is a notable success in 2015. Smooth, succulent and well balanced, showing stylish oak and bright, crunchy liquorice, violet and black fruit flavours. Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2022-2030

A solid red with blackberry, mineral and white pepper character. Medium to full body, silky textured finish. Mar 2016, www.JamesSuckling.com

Dark, dried-fruit impression - very ripe and concentrated! Sweet. Floral and a tad simple on the palate. Flattering but not quite enough zest. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2024-2037

The 2015 Larmande felt heady and a little alcoholic on the nose with kirsch and crème de cassis aromas. The palate is smooth on the entry, rounded in texture, though it needs more backbone and structure on the straightforward finish. Not bad, but it needs more personality to come through by the time of bottling. Apr 2016, www.eRobertParker.com, Drink: 2018-2028

The medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Larmande has a nose of warm plums and baked blackberries with touches of spice cake, balsamic and charcuterie. The medium to full-bodied palate is soft and plush with open-knit berry preserves flavors and a savory finish. Feb 2018, www.robertparker.com
