Average Score 89.83

The La Tour Figeac has a pleasant bouquet with ripe raspberry and strawberry fruit that is crisp and focused, the oak in synch. The palate is ripe on the entry with firm, clean tannins. It has a good backbone, a masculine La Tour Figeac but there is fine minerality and terroir expression coming through on the finish. This is very fine. Neal Martin,
This has good weight, with fleshy plum and boysenberry notes and a lively licorice snap edge that fills in on the finish. Nice mouthfeel and purity. James Molesworth,
The 2011 La Tour Figeac boasts a dark ruby/purple color as well as sweet notes of black cherries, black currants, forest floor and flowers. Rich on the attack and mid-palate, and narrowing slightly in the finish, it is a complete, relatively concentrated St.-Emilion that should provide enjoyable and complex drinking over the next 10-12+ years. It is a sleeper of the vintage. Wine Advocate.April, 2014
There is a nice sense of grace to the 2011 La Tour Figeac. Sweetly fruited and fine.
Vibrant with juicy fruit on the palate. Satisfying and natural. Structured for mid-term ageing but will be pleasing early on. Drink 2016-2025.
A balanced wine with plums and orange peel character. Medium to full body with firm tannins and a medium finish. Pretty.
