Since a new proprietor purchased this under-achieving estate there has been a noticeable increase in quality. While the 2006 is not a profound wine, it is a big improvement over past vintages. Its dark ruby color is accompanied by a medium-bodied wine displaying sweet notes of cocoa, coffee, white chocolate, and kirsch. This moderately-endowed, elegant, Burgundian-styled Pomerol should be drunk over the next 5-6 years. Wine Advocate.February, 2009
