Average Score 85.0

While La Fleur de Gay did make a 1991, at the time of this report it was uncertain as to whether it will be released in the American market. The wine has turned out well for the vintage, displaying a solid medium ruby color, and a spicy, ripe, blackcurrant-scented nose infused judiciously with smoky new oak. Medium-bodied, with low acidity, this pleasant, straightforward wine will drink well for 4-7 years. Feb 1994, www.robertparker.com
