The 2007 Aglianico del Vulture Il Sigillo is a bit different from the other wines in this lineup in that it is made from late-harvested fruit. It is a sumptuous wine that has preserved marvellous acidity and freshness, a combination that is simply dazzling. Layers of intense fruit caress the palate from start to finish in this beautifully delineated Aglianico. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2027. Antonio Galloni June 2011
