Château Hosanna is a relatively young wine label in Pomerol, but one with some of the richest
heritage in the entire region. It couldn’t be better situated with Château Lafleur to the north, Vieux Château Certan to the south and flanked on either side by Pétrus and Château Lafleur-Pétrus.
Prior to the French Revolution, the plot was part of the de May property and shared its
origins with Vieux Château Certan and Château Certan de May. Post the French Revolution the wine was sold as Château Certan-Marzelle. From 1956 to 1999 it was renamed Château Certan-Giraud and retained its reputation as one of the top Premier Cru sites atop the Pomerol plateau.
