1995 Haut Marbuzet

The 1995 reveals gobs of kirsch and coffee in its nose, along with smoky, toasty, oaky notes. Medium-bodied, with smoky, black currant fruit, low acidity, good lushness, and a layered palate, this is a hedonistic, accessible Haut-Marbuzet to consume over the next decade. This vintage does not possess the depth found in the 1990, 1989, and 1982, but it is an excellent wine. Feb 1998, www.robertparker.com
