The 2010 Griotte-Chambertin shows the more elusive, intellectual side of Burgundy at its finest. Silky tannins support a highly expressive, sensual core of sweet red cherries, freshly cut flowers and tobacco. Although somewhat elusive, there is plenty of depth, mid-palate richness and structure for this to drink well for many, many years. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2035. Feb 2012, www.robertparker.com
