Average Score 89.5

The 2015 Grand-Ormeau felt a little constricted on the nose: simple red berry fruit, a little earthiness coming through, but not fully letting go. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and well-judged acidity, and here, the quality filters through with impressive precision on the finish. Once this has absorbed the oak, it will be a delicious Lalande-de-Pomerol. Apr 2016, www.eRobertParker.com, Drink: 2018-2030
The 2015 Grand Ormeau offers lovely depth and plenty of personality. Forward and expressive, but with good underlying depth, the 2015 is an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years. Attractive scents of cedar, tobacco, licorice, iron and earthiness wrap around a core of expressive red-fleshed stone fruits. Apr 2016, www.Vinous.com
