Critic Notes

(from a .62 ha parcel). A more elegant nose combines notes of pretty red and dark pinot fruit, spice, tea and oak nuances. The finer, more restrained and more refined middle weight flavors possess a much sleeker and delineated mouth feel though less density on the slightly more structured finale. While the Ruchots and Combottes are qualitatively similar they possess different textures and concentration levels. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
