The 2015 Gazin Rocquencourt Blanc (100% Sauvignon Blanc) is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty that simply oozes class. Candied lemon, white flowers, mint and apricot open up as the 2015 shows off its textural depth and richness. Yields were just 40 hectoliters per hectare. The wine was fermented and aged in barrel, 40% new. This is another terrific showing from the Bonnie family and consulting winemaker Michel Rolland. Apr 2016, www.Vinous.com
Score: 92-95/100 Antonio Galloni
Lovely fresh crisp fruits, making the most of its sleek modern cellars to finesse this 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The 35% new oak gives fatness to an already ripe year without adding too much flesh. Lovely wine from the owners of Malartic-Lagravière. Apr 2016, Jane Anson, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2017-2025
Score: 90-/100 Decanter Drinking Window: 2017-2025
The 2015 Gazin Rocquencourt, which comes from the Bonnie family at Malartic-Lagravière, is pure Sauvignon Blanc and matured in 40% new oak. It has a tremendously fresh bouquet with Granny Smith apples, fresh pear, hints of grilled walnut and white peach. There is lovely definition here. The palate is fresh and vibrant with appealing fresh pear and white peach notes on the entry, the oak well integrated with an almond, almost patisserie-tinged finish. This is an energetic and engaging white Pessac-Léognan to consume with pleasure over the next 8-10 years. Apr 2016, www.eRobertParker.com, Drink: 2017-2027
Score: 89-91/100 Neal Martin Drinking Window: 2017-2027
Relatively light and fresh with a sweet palate entry. Pleasant without being dramatic. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2016-2018
