Purple red, excellent cassis fruit and good smoky Cabernet Franc lift, fully ripe but elegant and savoury, lovely style, very well made. Drink 2013-17
There is flesh and substance here. Some succulence. Good balance! Freshness and ripeness. No great intensity but at least there is balance and the promise of something even better in the future. Very drying on the finish though.

A balanced and pretty wine, with currant and light spices. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a fruity finish

Spicy, tobacco-laced red and black currants jump from the glass of this medium-bodied, elegant, yet flavorful and silky smooth Pessac-Leognan. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. Feb 2012, www.robertparker.com

Tasted at Vintex. Apricot and prune on the nose...sur-maturite. The palate is full-bodied with dense, sturdy tannins, much better balance than expected with ripe black toasty fruit. It is just the aromatics that let this wine down. Tasted April 2010.
