The 2021 Fourcas Dupré Blanc has a light nose that needs to show a bit more personality; I find this too neutral. The palate is better, delivering light citrus fruit laced with orange pith, yet I was hoping for a little more tension and mineralité.

Sinew, muscular, salted cracker salinity, this has depth of flavour and is enjoyable, if on the intensely savoury side, finishing with tart pineapple juice, white mango and grilled almond.
