Proprietor Jérémy Chasseuil turned out another gorgeous wine at Feytit-Clinet. Although the 2018 does not have the explosive energy of some past vintages, in exchange it will drink well with minimal cellaring. Cedar, tobacco, gravel, dried flowers, mint, spice and incense build as this richly textured, layered Pomerol shows off its class. As always, Feytit-Clinet is one of the most virile, potent wines of Pomerol and all of Bordeaux, for that matter. The blend is 92% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. Tasted three times.
