Critic Notes
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc and aged in 35% new oak, the Ferriere has a very pure bouquet that is so elegant and refined. The palate is very well balanced with a pleasant fleshy entry. It has an effervescent red fruit profile with hints of orange zest towards the bright, perky finish. I hope it is as delicious as this after bottling. Tasted April 2012. Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com

Deep cherry crimson. Sweet oak spice. Some vanilla but the clean dark and cherry fruit seeps round the edges. Firm, dry but rounded and well balanced by freshness. Cool and clear and well directed and more to come even though it is not a big wine. Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com

Supple, with light iron and black tea hints weaving through the plum, black cherry and cassis flavors. A touch light in the end, but pretty. James Molesworth, WineSpectator.com

Attractively fragrant fruit, very Margaux in style, but rather hollow on the palate. Drink 2014-2020. Decanter.com

From a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 2% new oak, the wine is aged in 40% new oak. Light ruby in color. The wine offers earth and cherry notes. Medium-bodied, the wine ends with a lightweight red berry and cherry finish.-Jeff Leve, theWineCellarInsider.com
