Average Score 93.0

The 2015 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a perfumed bouquet, a mixture of black and blue fruit, perhaps just a little smudged compared to others I have tasted, but with very impressive vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with supple red berry fruit, rounded and velvety in texture, gently building to an assured finish. If it can muster a notch more precision on the nose, then it may well deserve a higher evaluation, but it remains a very delicious and enticing prospect. Dec 2016, www.robertparker.com, Drink: 2020-2045
Ripe, bright red fruit on the nose; raspberry and cranberry with floral touches of white blossom. On the palate the wine is velvety and creamy with a vibrant acidity and high, fine tannins. Finishes long. Oct 2016
