The 2018 Château Defi De Fontenil is a special cuvée from Fontenil. It offers more black (and some blue) fruits, graphite, and licorice, with a rounded, full-bodied style on the palate. It shows the sexy, sunny style of the vintage, yet has remarkable freshness and elegance as well as purity on the palate. it's a beautiful wine that's going to keep for 15+ years. I recently drank a bottle of the 2000 and it was still fresh and vibrant, with a beautiful texture. It’s one of the greatest Fronsacs out there.

From the show-stopping to the subtle, we take a look ...

Beautiful wines deserve to be made in beautiful surroundings. Here are five of the wine world's greatest architectural gems... Museums, stadiums, opera houses: cutting-edge architecture is often associated with the entertainment sector.
