Average Score 86.0

From an estate owned by a well-known French aeronautical firm, the 2013 Dassault exhibits plenty of crisp acids, medium body, a dark ruby/plum color, good purity and an attractive mouthfeel. The acids are slightly aggressive, but this should turn out to be a fresh, lively, mid-weight St. Emilion to drink in its first 5-7 years of life. Wine Advocate.August, 2014
The 2013 Dassault offers light cranberry and crushed strawberry on the nose, but it is fleeting and ephemeral, a bouquet that could blow away in the lightest breeze. The palate is hard on the entry but there is some fruit behind it. It feels blocky, rather dry with a clipped, slightly bitter finish. I was expecting a little more here given its showing from barrel. Perhaps it will improve with bottle age since there is decent substance. Oct 2016, www.robertparker.com
