This is structured and rich with blueberry and cherry aromas and flavors. Full body, spicy and long. Mar 2016,
The 2015 d'Agassac has a commendable bouquet with ample blackberry and wild strawberry fruit that is neatly integrated with the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannin, but good depth and body with a punchy, blackberry and cedar finish that does the trick. Give this a couple of years in bottle and you will have a very decent Haut-Médoc. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2019-2030
A Stéphane Derenoncourt wine. Dark crimson and a heady purple-fruited nose. Fresh - this wine positively skips! A frisky, well balanced little thing. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2019-2026
The 2015 d'Agassac exudes richness, power and concentration. Black cherry, leather, smoke, licorice and dark spices are front and center. Although not at all subtle, the 2015 offers notable density and volume. The blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, from vines planted in 1960. Frédéric Massie and Romain Bocchio are the consulting winemakers. Apr 2016,
