Mineral and berry aromas, with hints of toasted oak. Medium- to full-bodied, with silky tannins and a medium finish. Focused and polished for this appellation
Fine fragrant lifted cassis nose, classy modern Cabernet fruit, very good expression of southern Médoc fruit, classy and classic. Drink 2013-18
Probably the best d’Agassac I have tasted, this sleeper of the vintage exhibits excellent concentration, texture and length. Loads of cassis and floral notes along with sweet tannin and low acidity characterize this blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. (A member of the Association of Crus Bourgeois du Medoc.) Wine Advocate.February, 2012
Tasted at Vintex. This has a very floral bouquet there bears more semblances to the Languedoc than Bordeaux, though it does have commendable definition and purity. The palate is sweet and citrus on the entry, not much depth but well defined with well integrated oak towards the finish. Moderate length. Very fine. Tasted March 2010
