Average Score 90.64

Very concentrated and fresh. Full body, very velvety and long. Walnut, blackberry. Goes on for minutes. Mar 2016,
A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc aged for 18 months in barrels, 40% new, the 2015 Corbin is medium garnet-purple colored with cigar box and spice box notions accenting the core of red and black plums, blackberry preserves and earthy layers plus a hint of lavender. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm, elegant and well balanced with grainy tannins, finishing lively and long. Feb 2018,
The 2015 Corbin is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc that was cropped at 38 hl/ha picked between 17 September and 9 October. It has an intense bouquet, a touch of fish oil underneath the feisty red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a dense, quite structured opening, a tight fist of red and black fruit at the moment that I am certain will open up during its barrel maturation. What I appreciate here is the precision on the finish, at a level that I have not encountered with respect to this property. It may warrant a higher score when in bottle. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2021-2045
Could be Annabelle Bardinet's finest. Poised and precise. Really elegant this year. Smooth texture. Fine grain of tannin. Lift and length on the finish. Apr 2016, James Lawther MW,, Drink: 2022-2032
Relying on lush dark fruit and ample toast, this envelopes with its velvety feel while the fig, blackberry and warm ganache notes meld through the finish. Shows more power than grace, but very solid. Mar 2016, James Molesworth,
Very dark crimson. Meaty, layered nose. Lots of sweetness upfront. Quite a dramatic wine but - just - not overdone. A bit hot on the end though… And very dry. Apr 2016,, Drink: 2024-2034
The 2015 Corbin is pretty and forward, with lovely fleshiness to match its mid-weight personality. Silky tannins, hints of blue and purplish hued fruits, lavender, mint and sweet spices add nuance throughout. The 2015 is a pretty Saint-Émilion, but it also offers less overall depth than most wines in this vintage. Tasted three times. Apr 2016,
