Impressively ripe, featuring loads of raspberry, wet earth and dark chocolate character, medium to full body, velvety tannins and long finish. Not quite as great as we remember, but very good indeed. 4,654 cases made. James Suckling, Wine Spectator 1996
Wine Spectator Score: 88/100
This well-situated St.-Emilion vineyard (next to Figeac) has produced an interesting 1993. The saturated dark ruby color and the ripe, moderately intense bouquet of black-cherries, herbs, spicy oak, and earth are laudable. Medium to full-bodied, with an expansive, sweet, concentrated palate and light tannin, this well-made claret should drink well for 5-7 years. Feb 1995, www.robertparker.com

Clos Vougeot 2013
Thursday 28th October saw our annual Clos Vougeot tastings. We are rather proud of our Clos Vougeot tasting at FINE+RARE. While blind tastings are hardly uncommon, the chance to ...
