2002 Chauvin

Red

A reasonably good effort for the vintage, Chauvin’s dark ruby/plum-tinged 2002 exhibits sweet aromas of loamy soil intermixed with dried herbs, black cherries, currants, and new oak. While somewhat superficial, it is a medium-bodied, round, lightly tannic, charming red to enjoy over the next 7-8 years. Apr 2005, www.robertparker.com
