The 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape is impressive and probably the deepest, richest wine I’ve tasted from this estate in some time. Made from 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and the rest Mourvedre and other permitted varieties, it has lots of dark fruits, crushed rock-like minerality, licorice and meaty notes in a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, yet elegant package.
