The 2014 Chapelle Chambertin Grand Cru has a voluptuous nose compared to the Charmes-Chambertin with plenty of ripe blackberry and bilberry fruit, just a touch of graphite coming through. The palate is medium-bodied and very smooth, and quite opulent for a Chapelle-Chambertin. There is commendable depth, the oak obviously needing a few years to fully integrate here, but it will be worth the wait. Dec 2015, www.robertparker.com
