The Chateau de Chantegrive (Rouge) 2014 has a forward nose with baked red cherries and light kirsch-like scents that are nicely defined. You could imagine this being very punter-friendly. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin. There is good depth here, sappy in the mouth with a brisk finish that might lack length, but I feel with expand during its elevage. Fine.
